Lasciata Villa Piano e proseguendo sulla antica "strada dei morti" [1] verso Brignole, si incontra ad un guado una pietra con scolpiti strani motivi ed una croce seguita da un XV (scoperta dall'amico Giorgio Palazzo nel suo vagabondare alla ricerca della "Leggenda dei Monaci di Villa Cella" ). Il tratto di strada che da Villa Piano di sotto porta alla cappelletta di Villa Cella, è tradizionalmente chiamato la calà dei morti .
