Il Concerto di Pasqua, tenutosi nella Chiesa di Santo Stefano la sera dell'11 aprile, ha avuto un ottimo successo ed è stato seguito ed apprezzato da un numeroso pubblico. The Easter concert, held in the Church of Santo Stefano in the evening of 11 April, had a great success and was followed and appreciated by a large audience. È stata particolarmente gradita la prova del violino insieme alla banda: un accostamento un po' insolito e nuovo, ma che ha avuto una buona riuscita. La mattina dello stesso giorno la banda aveva partecipato ad una commovente cerimonia svoltasi in chiesa a suffragio di tutti gli alpini caduti in Russia, ed in particolare del soldato Rossi Giovanni, di cui era giunta recentemente la notizia della morte avvenuta proprio cinquant'anni fa in un campo di prigionia. In questo mese sono proseguiti i lavori alla casa della banda, giunta ormai alla copertuta del tetto, ma la ditta Carpanese, insieme al maltempo ha dovuto superare notevoli difficoltà: sembrava che la casa fosse stregata, come la fontana di Castagnola. Effettivamente un tempo il loro caratteristico villaggio, con la sua posizione così isolata e scoscesa, ben si prestava quale prototipo di luogo dove ambientare racconti e favolette che si basano sulla presunta ingenuità e dabbenaggine dei montanari.
