Domenica 29 luglio 2007 si svolgerà a La Villa, frazione del comune di Santo Stefano d'Aveto, la X edizione della 'Festa della trebbiatura'. Sunday 29 July 2007 will be held at La Villa, part of the municipality of Santo Stefano d'Aveto, the X edition of the 'Feast of the threshing'.
Per l'occasione il borgo assumerà le sembianze d'un tempo ed in ogni angolo del paesino verranno riproposti antichi mestieri, molti dei quali non più praticati. Quest'anno le ambientazioni degli antichi mestieri saranno una trentina: la carbonina , la tosatura della pecora, la filatura della lana , il resegotto , la produzione della ricotta, la battitura a mano con la verga della segala, l'apicoltura, la cottura del pane in forno a legna, etc etc... L'idea di rievocare la coltivazione del grano con le attrezzature abbandonate da decenni nelle vecchie cascine, ha fatto sì che tutta la comunità di La Villa abbia ripreso a svolgere i tipici mestieri che facevano parte della quotidianità contadina.
