La signora Benedettina Biggio di Priosa d'Aveto, detta Tina, mostra in due brevi filmati l'antica arte della quale è depositaria: la filatura tradizionale della lana sia mediante l'utilizzo del fuso, sia mediante l'utilizzo dell'arcolaio. Un poco di storia. A little history.
Per "filatura tradizionale" si intende l'insieme delle operazioni che è necessario svolgere al fine di trasformare la fibra naturale (in questo caso la lana) in filato. For "traditional spinning" means all of what you must do in order to transform the natural fiber (in this case wool) in yarn.
