None of us therefore prohibits attributed to the cult rezzoagliese to San Terenziano, the same route.

All'inizio di questa lunga trattazione sul patrono di Rezzoaglio, mi ero riproposto di collocare cronologicamente l'inizio del culto medesimo. Earlier this long discussion on the patron of Rezzoaglio, I reiterated to place chronologically the beginning of the cult itself.
Devo ammettere che rispondere con certezza a questa domanda mi è impossibile. I must say that with certainty answer that question to me is impossible. Posso solo affermare che ognuna delle tre ipotesi avanzate reca dentro di sè un segmento temporale, nel quale verosimilmente avrebbe potuto realizzarsi. Quella che fa capo alla via Francigena potrebbe far risalire il culto intorno ai secoli X - XI. That which is the way Francigena could be traced back to the cult around centuries X - XI.
Mentre quella legata alla dominazione malaspiniana intorno ai secoli XIV - XV. While one due to the domination malaspiniana around XIV - XV. Infine l'ipotesi tortonese, potrebbe collocarsi agli inizi del XVI secolo. Finally the hypothesis Tortonese, could take place in the early sixteenth century.
Naturalmente non credo di dover faticare molto per convincervi della fragilità di questi dati, che rimangono pur sempre indicativi ed aleatori. Of course I do not think I need to sweat much to convince you of the fragility of these data, which are still indicative and uncertainty.

A conclusione di questa monografia su San Terenziano, debbo confessarvi che nell'apprestarmi a redigerla, ritenevo che il pericolo maggiore fosse quello che derivava dalla penuria di elementi storiografici. At the end of this monograph on San Terenziano, I must confess that nell'apprestarmi to make, I felt that the greatest danger was that which resulted from shortages of items historiography.
